BabyH-Fall-mini-session-CT-Portrait-Photographer-Pamela Bruni

Earlier this week I got to spend some time with this adorable 11 month old and his mom at the very picturesque Belltown Hills Orchard in Glastonbury, CT. We started at the apple orchard, strolled through the mums on display and played with some pumpkins! I underestimated his strength as he easily pulled very large pumpkins off the shelves and found it no problem to roll them to see how far they’d go. All in good fun!

If you are interested in a Fall mini session contact me today. The fee is $90 and includes 30 minute session, 10 digital images on CD and online viewing gallery as well as mobile app.

Hope everyone is enjoying the Fall season! Thanks for stopping by : )

CT-Senior-Portrait-Photographer-Pamela Bruni | Lauren V | Hammonasset Beach | Madison, CT

Lauren chose to have her senior portraits done at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison, CT. We met at Meig’s point and thought the nearly empty beaches and jetty would be a good backdrop for her senior portraits, and a portrait with her lovely sister. Keep this in mind  when considering your senior portrait session. It’s easy to incorporate your family into some of the photos.  A big thank you to my friend Kelly for her assistance! It was a perfect summer evening photo shoot at the the beach. Still need your senior portraits done? Contact me today so we can plan your perfect senior portrait session. I can do a studio session or at a preferred location. bruniphoto@gmail.com  Thanks for stopping by! -plb

CT Newborn-Baby-Portrait-Photographer-Baby W

Meet baby Weston! Yesterday marked 6 weeks for him. He surprised mom and dad by coming a little earlier than expected, so he’s still a tiny little guy but,  he’s really packing on the pounds now(or should I say ounces!) He couldn’t keep his eyes off his beautiful mama, loved to snuggle, and also happy  just hanging out on the boppy.  He’s a peanut, but he’s a strong little mister, and as expected he’s been kicking and stretching those little limbs far too long to be curled or wrapped up for a photo. “No thank you,” he said!

Thanks Chelsea and Joe for bringing your sweet baby over so I could meet him and for having me do his first photo session! Enjoy your little bundle of joy!

TGIF Fine Art for sale

Happy Fine Art Friday! ( I just made that up)

I have a FOMO complex when it comes to photography. I fear if I leave my camera behind I will miss the shot of my life. Unfortunately, I leave behind my camera more than I’d like, but for good reason. I have 2 beautiful kids and I want to share, experience and live their childhood and not just be recording it through the lense. Don’t get me wrong I take plenty of photos, but I decided a long time ago I had to have some separation of “work” and “Life.”  That’s why I’m eager to get my hands on a point and shoot. I have my eye on a couple of these retro looking mirrorless ones. Not exactly point and shoot, but much lighter and easier to handle than my Nikon.

Where was I going with this? Oh Yeah! FOMO. I took these photos while on vacation with my family, and I’m really glad I had my “good” camera with me, so I could get closeup to these beautiful creatures and their amazing Horns they carry around with them everyday. Impressive for sure. So I played around and decided black and white would spotlight this particular natural wonder.  They’ll be printed using archival quality paper and inks with prices starting at $50 for 8×10.  Also, there is a watermark on them that will be removed for printing. A link where you can purchase them will be uploaded soon. If you have questions before then, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.

Enjoy the weekend!
